Senator Elizabeth Warren says she intends to criminalize free speech and wants to jail people who she claims are posting “disinformation” on the Internet.
The Massachusetts senator and flailing Democrat candidate for president insisted that if she becomes president, she will jail anyone who she thinks is posting things she disagrees with.
Who needs all that silly free speech jazz, huh?
“Disinformation and online foreign interference erode our democracy, and Donald Trump has invited both,” Warren tweeted on Wednesday. “Anyone who seeks to challenge and defeat Donald Trump in the 2020 election must be fully prepared to take this on – and I’ve got a plan to do it.”

“I will push for new laws that impose tough civil and criminal penalties for knowingly disseminating this kind of information, which has the explicit purpose of undermining the basic right to vote,” Warren continued in a press release titled “fighting digital disinformation.”
As Daily Wire explained:
The plan, like most of Warren’s plans, is expansive, and involves forcing social media platforms like Facebook to “label” and approve content before its allowed to spread on social media — essentially giving them the editorial power of prior restraint on news organizations — and “create clear consequences” for any account that interferes with voting. She would also force Facebook, Twitter, Google, and other organizations to share their algorithm and allow users to opt-out of being targeted.
Most importantly, though, Warren would “push to create civil and criminal penalties for knowingly disseminating false information about when and how to vote in U.S. elections,” and put a national security expert in charge of sniffing out and punishing those who spread such information, essentially creating a national “bureau of truth.”
Warren also proposed to outlaw anonymous posts on the Internet, and would require all app makers, and Internet sites and hosts to hand over all information on users to Warren’s Gestapo.
This coming from a candidate who has been repeatedly caught is straight-out lies time and again during her political career.
Most well-known is her decades of exploiting university set-asides and cash prizes that made her a millionaire by lying that she was a “minority” because she had the blood of Native Peoples in her family. Turns out a hot dog at a Cleveland Indians game is more of an Indian that she.
She also lied about being fired when she was a young teacher because she was pregnant. A look at the records of her employment prove her claim is a lie. And she also claimed she put her kids through public school when they were young when in fact, she sent them to a tony private school.
Yet, Warren is now trying to target others for “lies” when she is the queen of lies.
Yeah. Who needs all that silly “free speech”?
